Optima Granite Polish

Granite Polish is a blend of special abrasives formulated to snap back the polish to dull granite, restoring the original color and developing a high shine. It is an ideal final step following diamond pad restoration to "pop" the polish, eliminate haze and develop the natural color of the stone. Optima Granite Polish can only be use wit out diamond pad restoration in light traffic situations where the factory polish has dulled due to very fine scratches. This buffing compound is unable to remove medium to heavy scratches. Heavily scratched or pitted granite will required diamond pad restoration, prior to the use of this product. The powder is suitable for use on light and dark granites, eliminating the need for color additives.

Optima Premium Crystallizer

Premium Crystallizer is a single step, spray and buff liquid, formulated to produce a high polish on polished terrazzo, serpentine and marble floors. Utilized with #0 grade steel wool pads, crystallization will bring a higher level of polish to an already polished marble floor, while at the same time slightly increasing the hardness of the marble to improve wear resistance. On polished terrazzo, crystallizer helps to even out the differences in the level of polish between the marble chip and the cement matrix producing a uniform polished appearance. The special polymers in this product also make it suitable for use on granite in conjunction with Granite Polish to rejuvenate traffic areas on granite floors. Used separately on polished granite, the polish can be significantly improved and color enhanced.

Optima Impregnator SB

Optima Impregnator SB uses the latest fluorinated copolymer technology in a glycolic solvent base, to provide efficient stain protection against oil, grease, solvent and water borne contaminants. It can be applied to all types of natural stone, terrazzo, porous ceramic tile and cementitious materials. Suitable for use on both interior and exterior applications, Optima Impregnator SB renders the treated stone more chemical resistant and does not affect the ability of the stone to transpire vapor, thus allowing the stone to "breathe".

In most cases, the original color of the stone remains unchanged, but as with any impregnator, it is highly recommended that a test area be treated in order to ascertain that any potential change is acceptable prior to universal application. Impregnator SB is easily applied and cures quickly within one hour, under normal
conditions. Two hours after application, it is possible to resume normal maintenance.

After treating the stone with Optima Impregnator SB, the stone’s surface has a surface protection which is completely invisible. Physical abrasion and strong solvents will diminish the efficacy of the protection and it is recommended that the impregnator be re-applied on an annual basis, especially in exterior applications.

Optima Impregnator WB

Optima Impregnator WB is a water based emulsion of silane, siloxane and fluorinated copolymers providing invisible, double protection against oil and water based contaminants on the surface, while at the same time providing a barrier against moisture rising from a damp substrate. Rising dampness is the major cause of efflorescence.

It can be applied to all types of natural stone, terrazzo, porous ceramic tile, concrete and cement based materials. Being water based, the surface does not have to be completely dry prior to application. Optima Impregnator WB is a particularly effective protection against freeze/thaw cycle damage on exterior applications of porous stone in regions subject to frost.

In most cases, the original color of the stone remains unchanged, but as with any impregnator, it is highly recommended that a test area be treated in order to ascertain that any potential color change is acceptable prior to universal application. Physical abrasion and strong alkaline cleaners will diminish the efficacy of the protection and it is recommended that the impregnator be re-applied on an annual basis, especially in external applications.

Optima Stone Color Enhancer

Optima Stone Color Enhancer is a blend of resins and waxes in a refined solvent base that provides stain protection and waterproofing, while enhancing the natural color of the stone. No topical film is formed because the solvent carrier facilitates impregnation into the pore structure, resulting in the "wet look" appearance and preserving the stone’s moisture permeability, thus allowing it to "breathe". This film free surface also inhibits soiling. Optima stone color enhancer can be used on polished material, but it is particularly effective when used on flamed or mechanically textured granite, slate or antique marble. Being UV resistant, the stone will not yellow despite heavy applications, which are sometimes necessary to develop deeper tones. 

The color enhancing effect will diminish over time due to the repeated use of maintenance products or exposure to strong light. To maintain the desired color intensity, periodic repeat applications will be necessary, particularly in exterior applications.

Optima Intensive Stone Cleaner 

Optima Intensive Stone Cleaner is a high pH, blend of alkalis, surfactants and sequestering agents for the aggressive cleaning of heavily soiled floors. This product is especially effective at removing grease build up and organic accumulations on commercial kitchen floors and in grout lines. Although Intensive Stone Cleaner is not intended to remove floor finish, it is very effective in removing topical wax residues. The use of this product on marble will have a slight bleaching effect due to the strong degreasing action, but polishing with Optima Marble Polish or the resumption of maintenance with Optima Stone Soap will restore the stone to its original color.

Optima General Purpose Poultice 

A pre-mixed creamy paste for the removal of environmental discoloration, mold, algae, mildew and lichens from porous stone. If the cause of the stain is not known, this is an ideal product to use as an initial stain removal treatment. The paste can be simply applied using a spatula or brush and is ideally suited for use on vertical, irregular and textured surfaces. Poly Protector® Static Cling Plastic Film
