VIC Polyester Adhesives


Our greatly improved VIC Polyester Adhesive features a much faster
setting formula that is comparable to all other fast setting adhesives in speed. In addition, the price is right for such a quality product that can be used for lamination, rodding, repairs, etc.

Note: VIC polyester can be colored with our VIC, Axson or Akemi colorants as well as any others designed to be used with polyester adhesives.

VIC Penetrating Adhesive

The VIC Penetrating Adhesive is the answer to those slabs of marble and granite that are fragile and may separate during processing.


NOTE: Not for use on white or similar colors of marble.

Wood & Stone Polyester 

Polyester based products are ideal for stone installed in a protected environment. Designed especially for marble, polyester adhesives are simple to use, possess excellent bonding strengths, and cure rapidly at room temperature.

Wood & Stone Water Clear Polyester 

Axson Water Clear Polyester products are designed
specifically for white and lightly colored marble, such as Thassos, Carrara, Vermont, and Georgia. Using a liquid
hardener, it forms a true water clear appearance that may be colored using polyester coloring pastes. In addition, it will not darken or discolor when subjected to ultra violet rays. Both flowing and knife grade formulations are available.

StonEdge Color Enhancer 

StonEdge was specifically formulated to give that permanent “wet” appearance required in today’s market. StonEdge also helps to increase color and luster and protects marble, travertine, granite and agglomerates from oils and water. Suitable for indoor and exterior stone applications.

Akabond Acrylic Super Penetrating 

Acrylic based products are outstanding for sandstone, limestone, and other porous stones, as well as lightly colored marble and granite in an indoor environment. The Super Penetrating formula allows for quick and easy surface coverage and crevice filling. The improved clear formula and high bond strength of the cured product make it ideal for use on lightly colored marble and travertine.

Akabond Standard Epoxy 

The epoxy based Akabond product line offers speed, maximum bond strength, minimal shrinkage, superior weathering
characteristics, and excellent resistance to temperature change. More importantly, these products can be used to bond natural stone to other materials including metal and wood.

Akabond Clear Epoxy 

Clear Epoxy Systems have very good color stability, with only a minimal tendency to yellow under direct UV exposure. All Akabond Epoxy products can be colored with our epoxy coloring pastes to match the color of virtually any stone.

Akabond 922

Akabond 922 is a clear, two-part, epoxy based adhesive and filler designed for use with natural stone, including marble, granite, or cultured stone. Akabond 922 is a solvent free, two-component adhesive, with excellent freeze/thaw durability. This product has been specially formulated to have a fast cure, as well as structural strength.

Akabond Marmokitt

Akemi's Marmokitt 1000 Transparent is a polyester/resin based adhesive that is available in Flowing or Knife Grade.  The Flowing adhesive is honey colored and is used for filling, patching, and mending natural and cast stone.  The Knife Grade adhesive is also honey colored and is fluid when stirred or shaken but returns to a more solid state when standing, making this a good choice for vertical surfaces.

Akemi Platinum

Akemi® Platinum gives you the best of both worlds. A transparent polyester adhesive that dries clear, mixes true with colorant, dries faster and uses standard paste hardener.

•  Very good adhesion on natural stones also at higher  temperatures (60 to 70º C; in case of low exposure to strain: 100 to 110º C)

Akemi Polishing Fluid

Polishing fluid is used to enhance the finish of marble and granite edges.

Akemi Super Penetrant

Used for embedding and anchoring metal rods on hollow or full supports, bonding of decorative elements, bonding of concrete prefabricated elements (pipes...), reinforcements and repairing of structures.

Stone-Weld® Flowing

For use in those applications where a liquid consistency epoxy is preferred and featuring clear color, fast set up, easy mixing through color coding, extremely strong bond and good color saturation where needed.  Sold in a set consisting of 2 Part A and 1 Part B.

Knife-Weld® Gel Type

A gel consistency product offering all the advantages of the flowing variety, but specifically formulated for those applications where an adhesive with more body is preferred.  Sold in a set consisting of 1 Part A and 1 Part B.

Stone-Weld® Penetrating

A water thin, clear epoxy that is ideal for use on stone with hairline cracks and fissures. The epoxy flows into these areas and “welds” the stone together to prevent breakage during processing.  May be used on any type or color of stone.  Sold in a set consisting of 2 Part A and 1 Part B in  a 24 oz. container that features a unique measuring system.

Touchstone Colorants for Epoxies (2 oz.)

Colorants for Epoxies are concentrated pigment dispersions in a 100% solids, zero-VOC liquid vehicle. They are low viscosity and easily handled and are used to impart color to epoxy, polyester, polyurethane adhesives and patching compounds. Can be used with all Bonstone, Touchstone and Boncrete products. 

Axson Coloring Paste

Coloring pastes are available in polyester and epoxy formulas. The polyester color is used in both polyester and acrylic based products, while the epoxy works with our Akabond series.
